Safety is of paramount importance at our rowing club and we follow the guidance of our governing body, The Amateur Rowing Association (please see attached link) We also carry out a yearly safety audit (with a parent) and we teach the pupils how to carry out basic equipment checks. All pupils complete a capsize drill and swim test before taking to the water.
