The Rowing Club is very fortunate to have a number of committed coaches, all of whom are known to the club either as parents of pupils (both past and present) or to Head Coach Graham Jump. All coaches have to complete a CRB form, they sign the schools’ ‘code of conduct’ and they are all encouraged to take a basic coaching qualification as provided by our governing body, the ARA.
We basically operate 3 squads, one for developers, one for girls and one for boys. Each squad has a coordinator and is assisted other coaches including any sixth form pupils who wish to take up coaching. The Head Coach has the final say on all matters (with a little help from his friends!)
